Children
We can see patients at any age if there are concerns – for example a front tooth inside the bite (crossbite). For most children the best time is usually around the age of 10 years so we can assess the child’s dental development and possible need to start early treatment.
Teens
This is the age group when most orthodontic treatment is carried out and we see a lot of teenage patients keen to align their teeth and improve their smile. Teenagers may be anxious about the appearance of a brace and we have a wide range of options and alternatives to traditional train-track braces.
Adults
Due to the advances in orthodontics achieving a beautiful smile is now available for all ages and your orthodontist will be happy to advise which treatments are best for you.
Over 60’s
Advances in dental care mean we are keeping our teeth longer and that means we can all have beautiful smiles at any age. There is no age barrier to orthodontic treatment, so why not contact us to see what options are available to you.
Anxious Patients
We understand that patients can be anxious, especially the first time they come to see us. However, our team of friendly professionals are here to help you be as comfortable as possible. Please let us know if you have any special requirements and we will be happy to accommodate your needs.
We have eliminated the need for messy impressions (moulds), having invested in the latest scanning technology, which is very reassuring for our patients – especially those with a strong gag reflex.
